Dr. Nadin Augustiniok studied architecture at the Bauhaus University in Weimar, Germany. After working as a practising architect for several years, she completed a Masters in Sustainable Building Conservation in Cardiff, UK. She obtained her PhD from the University of Hasselt and the University of Liège in Belgium with the title 'Value Assessment in Adaptive Reuse: Flanders and Wallonia'. Her research focuses on the relationship between heritage conservation and architecture and its implementation in legislation and practice.
