Dwi Hatmojo Danurdoro is concerned with how community-led urbanism is an integral part of city-making. This approach is “honest” with a collective spirit, and with its temporary intervention elements, it can give new meaning to vacant and abandoned urban areas. He studied Interior Design (undergraduate programme) and Architecture (master programme) at the Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia. Danurdoro is currently undertaking a PhD in Architecture and Urbanism at the University of Leeds, UK. He is also a lecturer in his home country of Indonesia. Through what he has learned, he aims to foster enthusiasm in young interior designers to contribute to the city.
